China Post parcel delivery details
China Post offers international delivery services for small parcels, large packages, and Express Mail Services. Both small and large packages deliveries can be tracked if registered.
China Post International Small Parcel is for the delivery of items below 2 kilograms, from China to international destinations. A small parcel means that the package is less than two kilograms in weight and the size of which should be less than 90cm in length, width, and depth.
China Post International Large Package is for packages that are over two kilograms but less than 30 kilograms in weight. This service is a lot cheaper than any express delivery method and is best for deliveries that are not so urgent.
The delivery methods for both small and large packages can either be Air Parcel, Surface Air Lift (SAL), and Surface Parcel. Air Parcel and SAL deliveries will take around 5-30 days shipping time while Surface will usually take around 40-70 days. China Post parcel/airmail is the most commonly availed of services as it is convenient and more affordable. For those that require faster delivery, EMS will be appropriate although more expensive.
China Post International deliveries can either be Ordinary or Registered Mail. The ordinary is offered at a lower rate but doesn't come with any shipment tracking, trace services, or compensation for lost items.
