How long does it take to deliver Chronopost ?

Delivery times depend on the service chosen. The different possible options are as follows:

  • Deliveries in France:
    • Next day delivery before 1pm:
      • Maximum weight: 30kg
      • Maximum dimensions: L ≤ 150 cm / L + 2 H + 2 l ≤ 300 cm
      • Minimum dimensions: 30 x 21 cm
      • Delivery from Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. Saturday delivery is optional. Service available throughout the France, including Corsica and Monaco. In case of absence during delivery, the package is placed in a relay point for 7 to 14 days.
    • Next day delivery before 10am:
      • Maximum weight: 30kg
      • Maximum dimensions: L ≤ 150 cm / L + 2 H + 2 l ≤ 300 cm
      • Minimum dimensions: 30 x 21 cm
      • Delivery from Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. Service available throughout the France, including Corsica and Monaco. Delivery to coastal islands may see its duration extended. In case of absence during delivery, the package is placed in a relay point for 7 to 14 days.
    • Next day delivery before 8am:
      • Maximum weight: 30kg
      • Maximum dimensions: L ≤ 150 cm / L + 2 H + 2 l ≤ 300 cm
      • Delivery from Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. Service available in metropolitan France (excluding Corsica) and Monaco. In case of absence at the time of delivery, the package is placed in a relay point for 14 days. A second delivery can be scheduled.
    • Same day delivery to an individual:
      • Maximum weight: 30kg
      • Maximum dimensions: L ≤ 150 cm / L + 2 H + 2 l ≤ 300 cm
      • Delivery from Monday to Saturday in Ile de France, from Monday to Friday in the rest of the France, the same evening, from 7pm to 10pm. The package must be deposited at the Chronopost agency before 3pm. In case of absence at the time of delivery, the package is placed in a relay point for 14 days.
    • Delivery to a relay point:
      • Maximum weight: 20kg
      • Maximum dimensions: L ≤ 100 cm / L + 2 H + 2 l ≤ 300 cm
      • Minimum dimensions: 30 x 21 cm
      • Next day delivery before 1pm, in one of the 15,000 relay points in France, from Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. Service available throughout the France, including Corsica and Monaco. An SMS is sent as soon as the parcel arrives in relay, which will remain 7 days. It will be returned on the 8th day if it is not recovered. The deadline may be extended for deliveries to the coastal islands.
    • Next day delivery before 9am for professionals:
      • Maximum weight: 30kg
      • Maximum dimensions: L ≤ 150 cm / L + 2 H + 2 l ≤ 300 cm
      • Next day delivery before 9am, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. Delivery from Monday to Saturday if the package has been deposited at a relay point. In case of absence at the time of delivery, the package is placed in a relay point for 14 days. A second delivery can be scheduled.

    • Delivery by appointment 7 days a week (Chrono Precise):

      • The customer chooses the day and the delivery slot of 2 hours, from the next day to 14 days after the order. Delivery can be made between 8am and 10pm from Monday to Friday anywhere in France, from 8am to 10pm on Saturday in Ile de France, from 8am to 2pm on Saturday outside Ile de France, and from 9am to 1pm on Sunday. Delivery is made everywhere in metropolitan France, excluding Corsica, coastal islands and Monaco.
    • Chrono Swap , Exchange of goods, next day delivery before 1pm or 6pm:

Information about Chronopost deliveries

Chronopost is a member of Dpd Group , an international parcel transport and delivery company. It represents an important player in France for deliveries of parcels of less than 30kg, for B2b shipments ( Business To Business ), B2c ( Business To Consumer ) and C2c ( Consumer To Consumer ).

Chronopost distributes 5.3 million parcels a day to no less than 230 countries around the world. It has more than 900 centres and depots and 39,000 collection relays throughout Europe.

Founded in 1985 as Sfmi (Société Française de Messagerie Internationale) by Le Groupe La Poste , the company changed its name to Chronopost in 1992. Deliveries worldwide began in 1991 in the Dom , then 13 subsidiaries abroad were opened in 1998 until today serving 230 different countries.

Since 2018, Chronopost delivers parcels to Paris using clean vehicles only (natural gas vehicles or electric vehicles).

Chronopost offers packaging called Ready-to-Ship, 6 formats are available:
