How to track a DHL parcel delivery?
Tracking your DHL shipment is easy. Use the 10 digit number that you would have received. If you are the receiver of a package, please get your tracking number from the shipper. Here are some Frequently Asked Questions about tracking:
What is the tracking number and where can I find it?
Your tracking number is 10 digits and found your electronically-generated shipping document, e.g 1234567890.
What are my tracking options?
DHL offers a convenient way to track your packages using your social media account, or through our partners such as Ordertracker.
When will I get my shipment?
The transit time of your package depends on the service that was availed of by the shipper. There are, however, other factors that may affect the delivery time of your packages such as weekends, holidays, or acts of nature like typhoons, earthquakes, or other natural disasters that may hinder the delivery.
Will I know where my shipment is at?
Yes. DHL allows updated tracking information on the location of your shipment as it is being moved from one location to another through the DHL network.
I don't have the tracking number, what should I do?
We strongly advise that you contact the shipper to get your tracking number. If you have the shipper's reference number, you may use that to track your package via our Shipper's Reference Tracking service.
I tracked my shipment and I was told to contact DHL.
This usually happens when we received lacking information to track your shipment, such as incomplete or incorrect addresses. To get the contact information of our office in your location, check the official website.
I missed the delivery of my package. Will DHL make another attempt?
You may request to pick it up in any of your offices/centers near you, reschedule the delivery, or redirect it to another address on the official website.
I am required to sign an acknowledgment receipt when my package is delivered?
Most packages do not need a signature but if you want to, request it on the official website.
My package requires a signature but I won't be available to receive it.
You may complete a Signature on File Agreement form and leave it with DHL. It will provide authorization for all future shipments up to 12 months. Or you may reschedule the delivery instead.
I see that my shipment status says “custom status updated” from the destination although the package has left the country of origin.
This means clearance processing from the destination is ongoing. Click the (+) sign to see specific details or if there are additional details needed from you to get customs clearance.
