How to track an Otto parcel delivery?
Upon placing an order, you will receive an email with your tracking ID and other order details. Your tracking ID is usually a 14 digit number e.g. 02365276000047.
Otto strictly adheres to contactless delivery to maintain minimum health standards in the delivery of your items.
- Once your item arrives, the driver will place the package in front of your door and ring the bell or knocks
- The driver will take two steps back so you can sign the package (with your own pen)
- Take 2 steps back so the driver can take a photo of the label. This completes the delivery of your items
Customers have the option to set a specific date and place of delivery for qualified items when placing the order. Once the order is placed, it is no longer possible to change the address or the delivery date.
Otto offers a 30-day return, and 14 days for sellers, all free of charge. Return labels are usually included in the package or sent to your email address. For items that are over 25kg., you need to call 040 - 3603 3603 to set up a pickup date.
Items that were ordered from sellers do not automatically include return labels. You need to request a return label via your online account. You will then receive it under “my account” once the request is processed.

Otto parcel delivery details
Otto does not deliver goods outside of Germany. Customers who are outside Germany may reach out to Ottos partners and subsidiaries in their respective countries instead. There are three service providers handling Otto deliveries - Hermes, Ottos own carrier; DHL, and GLS. Customers will able to see the delivery time in the item listing when placing an order.
In-stock items are usually delivered, via Hermes shipping, in 2-3 working days (including Saturday) to the customer. Shipping items, on the other hand, will be delivered in 2-3 working days. Customers will be notified via email and SMS prior to the delivery of their items.
The cost for shipping is always a flat-rate, regardless of the value of the items ordered. Standard package delivery will be € 5.95, while forwarding delivery will be € 29.95. For 24-hour delivery, packages will be at € 9.95 and forwarding delivery at € 19.95. Surcharges will be added on top of the shipping cost for all 23-hour deliveries.
