The sale was approved by the European Union Competition Commission in March 2020, and in June of the same year, the deal was closed and ownership of Real was finally transferred to SCP Group.

How to track a Real parcel delivery?
To track your Real deliveries, you go to the “My Orders” tab on your account. Click on the order and select track shipment. Alternatively, you can get the tracking information and check your delivery via Ordertracker by entering your tracking number on the tracking information field. If you do not have the tracking number, contact your seller.
Your tracking number can vary depending on the shopping carrier handling the delivery of your goods. Here are some examples of tracking numbers:
- DHL eCommerce tracking numbers usually start with GM, LX, RX, or up to five letters
- Hermes tracking number is usually 16 digits (Germany is usually 14)
Some factors can affect the delivery of your goods - weather conditions and other acts of nature, the traffic situation, accidents, and the time it took for the seller to prepare your goods for delivery.
Real parcel delivery details
Items purchased through Real will be delivered by either DHL, DPD, UPS, GLS, or Hermes. Items that are considered bulky and very heavy are delivered via a forwarding service. You will not be able to choose the shipping company but you will see the estimated delivery date in the product description, including the shipping cost.
The shipping cost can vary depending on the item you purchased, the total value of the goods, and where the goods will be delivered. The shipping fee can either be a flat rate, meaning for the entire order; or it can be an individual shipping fee. For items that are sold by marketplace sellers, the shipping cost is at the discretion of the seller. Before placing the order, you can review the itemized charges for shipping.
All sold by Real can only be delivered within Germany. However, some sellers in the marketplace may deliver packages abroad. You may check the shop information or try placing the item in the cart as the system will automatically check if international shipping is offered for a specific item.
If your items will be delivered by a forwarding agent, you will receive a call to schedule the delivery. The company also doesnt offer any express delivery options.
For customers who want to deliver their goods to Switzerland or Liechtenstein, they can place an order via the official website. This service is convenient for customers who are in Switzerland or Liechtenstein but would like to purchase goods in Germany. Items purchased under this arrangement will be delivered fully cleared and taxed.
All items ordered come with a 14-day return period. If you decide to return your goods, you will have to shoulder the shipping fees for items with a purchase value of less than € 40.01. Return labels are available for download via the “Order History” tab on your account.
