How long does it take to deliver Relais Colis ?
Relais Colis mainly offers deliveries to relay points but also home deliveries. Delivery times depend on the service chosen and is indicated as an indication when ordering the shipment. This period may vary but may not exceed 30 working days. Deliveries take place from Tuesday to Saturday.
Retail customers have several delivery options, the most common is standard delivery which is the most economical. There are also faster options, including delivery in 48 hours which allows to receive the package 2 working days after its deposit with Relais Colis , or delivery in 24 hours which allows to receive the parcel the next working day.
The different delivery options for professionals (with more than 10 packages per day shipped) are as follows:
- For shipments of less than 20 kg and less than 1m70 developed:
- Relais Colis Standard: delivery times are 1 to 4 days depending on the destination
- Relais Colis Express: delivery takes place the next morning if the package was delivered before 21:30
- For shipments of more than 20 kg and 1m70 of developed (l + L + h):
- Relais Colis Max: nearly 1000 relays accept large packages up to 40 kg and 2m50 developed
- Relais Colis Home+ +: home delivery of bulky parcels in the room of the customer's choice, by appointment
- Relais Colis Home+: economical home delivery by appointment, at the bottom of the customer's home
- Relais Colis Drive: the customer picks up his large package when it is available in a relay Drive
When a package arrives at the relay point chosen by the sender, the recipient receives an e-mail message to inform him. The recipient has 7 working days to pick up his package at a relay point. After this period, the package will be returned to the relay point of origin, and the sender will then receive an email to inform him of the return of his package.
If the relay point selected by the sender during sending is closed, the package is sent to the nearest relay point and the recipient is informed of this change by e-mail message.

Relais Colis is a French carrier created in 1969, initially under the name of Sogep , to offer an alternative to home parcel delivery for La Redoute services. A new type of delivery in local shops is thus set up, allowing a more economical and simple delivery. Today Relais Colis delivers more than 40 million parcels per year (of which only 2 million are home deliveries), which represents more than a billion shipments made since the creation of the company. It is now completely independent of La Redoute and has been able to expand its network throughout the France, and has 4 hubs in Bordeaux, Lyon, Paris and Lille, 22 local agencies, and no less than 5200 local relays.
Since 1984, Relais Colis has been offering ever faster deliveries by offering the delivery options "48h chrono" and "24h chrono". It is possible to send fragile packages, however Relais Colis does not take responsibility for damage during sending. There is no specific option yet for these fragile packages.
For valuable shipments, it is possible to select the Zen option that ensures the contents of the package. It is necessary to declare the value in euros of the package and in case of loss of the package or damage to the integrity of it, the amount declared will be reimbursed by the Transported Goods insurance called Ad Valorem , under certain conditions.
