USPS or United States Postal Service represents the U.S. Postal Service. This service was created by decree of the Second Continental Congress in 1775 in Philadelphia under the name of United States Post Office, by Benjamin Franklin who was the first Postmaster General. Originally known as US Mail, USPS is one of the leading providers of postal service and parcel delivery in the United States.
